The Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA) provides insurance for your staff against injuries on duty. Formerly known as Workmen's Compensation (WCA), registration is mandatory for all employers.

The "Letter of Good Standing"

This is the most requested document in our industry. You cannot apply for government tenders or large corporate contracts without it.

A Letter of Good Standing (LOGS) proves that your annual assessments are paid up. We can help you obtain this letter quickly by ensuring your registration and payments are up to date.

Who must register?

If you employ one or more casual or full-time workers, you must register with the Compensation Fund. This includes:

• All businesses (Pty Ltd, CC, Sole Proprietor).
• Contractors and sub-contractors.
• Directors receiving a salary.

Our Service Includes

We manage the entire relationship with the Compensation Fund:

• New Registration: Submitting the W.As.2 form to get your reference number.
• Return of Earnings (ROE): Submitting your annual W.As.8 declaration (due every April/May).
• Assessment Retrieval: Getting your "Notice of Assessment" invoice so you can pay.
• Letter of Good Standing: Downloading the final certificate once payment clears.

Requirements

To register or renew, we typically need:

• Company Documents: CIPC Registration (CoR 14.3).
• ID Copies: Certified copies of all directors.
• Proof of Address: Recent utility bill or lease.
• Payroll Info: Total earnings paid to employees for the year.
